Jean Vanhoegaerden is an internationally recognized expert in leadership, organizational change, and cross-cultural management. With a background in both academia and business, Jean has dedicated his career to understanding how leadership can adapt and thrive in diverse, global environments. He holds a Master’s degree in Organisational and Personnel Psychology and has studied at prestigious institutions like Harvard University, Thunderbird, and Tuck School of Business.

Jean's early career began as a research assistant at the Centre for Organisational and Personnel Psychology in Belgium, where he developed a deep interest in how organizations function and evolve. Over the years, his expertise has expanded to include leadership and change management, areas in which he has made significant contributions.

As a professor of practice at Ashridge/Hult Business School, Jean teaches courses on international management, leadership, and leading change. His academic role is complemented by his extensive consulting experience with leading global companies such as Coca-Cola Enterprises, Volvo, and Philips. Before joining Ashridge, Jean worked as a human resources manager for Honeywell, where he was responsible for designing and implementing management development programs across Europe.


Jean is known for his ability to bridge the gap between theory and practice, drawing from his decades of experience to offer practical solutions to today’s complex leadership challenges.
